Experience counts
Before getting married, jitters can be expected – this is a normal reaction to an existential change which will determine the rest of your life. Not being nervous would be the strange reaction. However, there are many ways to calm the nerves and get ready for the big day. One such was is to speak to people who have already been through it all before. Speak to friends and family members who have already been through it all and they will tell you that they went through the same feelings as you did, it’s normal, trust us. People are always unsteady before such big changes take place, it is the primordial flight or flee mechanism in action, ensuring that you are making the right decision. So, do not feel guilty about experiencing these emotions, they are just a part of the evolutionary experience that has brought us as a species to this point of advancement, and without them we may all still be cave dwellers.
